Najwa Saleh
Najwa Saleh is the Elderly Program Coordinator at AAFS. Najwa has an educational background in Business Administration and Psychology. She is fluent in both Arabic and English. Najwa receives ongoing trainings related to elderly services.
Shireen Salman
Shireen Salman is the Domestic Violence Supervisor, Court Advocate and Outreach Coordinator at AAFS. She serves as a committee member of both the Mayors Office on Domestic Violence Interfaith Leadership Advisory Council, and the Circuit Court of Cook County Fifth/Sixth Municipal Districts Family Violence Coordinating Council. Shireen is 40 hour Domestic Violence Training certified and continues her education in Domestic Violence through various trainings she attends, including training through The Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network on “Confidential Communication under the IDVA. She also serves the community through her work at The Church of the Virgin Mary in Alsip, as the chair of the Ladies Guild Humanitarian Committee.
Ibtessam Asfour
Ibtessam Asfour joined AAFS first as a volunteer and now is the Resource Director at AAFS. Ibtessam has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Yarmouk University in Amman, Jordan. Ibtessam is President of the Ladies Guild of St. George Orthodox Church.
For over two years, Ibtessam has conducted cultural exhibits to the various mainstream organizations in an effort to reduce misunderstanding and miscommunication and bridge the gap between the Arab American community and the mainstream community.
Senia Zeiadah
Senia Zeiadah joined Arab American Family Services in August of 2006. She is a Database Entry Specialist. Senia has her Associates Degree in Legal Secretary and in Business Administration and Accounting. She has 5 years of Human Resource experience as well as 7 years of Construction Administration. With her many years of experience Senia is able to enhance and expand the work of AAFS through her ability to develop databases and accurately enter data.
Hanean Darwish
Hanean Darwish is a Domestic Violence Caseworker and Court Advocate for AAFS. Hanean obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration with a Concentration in Health Care Management from Robert Morris College. She is 40 hour Domestic Violence Training certified, and has gone through the �Building a Healthy Community/ Breaking the Cycle of Violence� training from the Circuit Court of Cook County Fifth/Sixth Municipal Districts Family Violence Coordinating Councils. Hanean is fluent in both Arabic and English.
Hadeel Gholeh
Hadeel Gholeh is the Director of Finance at AAFS. She began her position with AAFS in 2005. Hadeel is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. She is responsible for the accounting activities and financial reporting of the organization, including preparing the financial statements, creating budgets and financial projections, and ensuring internal control compliance.
