Our Success At Its Best Event with Keynote Speaker Anita Alvarez and Arab Americans in public office is around the corner.

AAFS 6th Annual Back to School

Last year, with the generous support of community members, AAFS provided 120 elementary and high school students with bookbags filled with complete sets of school supplies. This year, AAFS calls on your support to help send at least 150 of our students back to school fully prepared for the upcoming school year of 2010.
We urge you to use this opportunity to give back and bring joy to our Arab-American students, and all youth who deserve the best education possible.
We are asking you to contribute $20 or more towards our 6th Annual Back to School Drive, or you may choose to donate a new book bag filled with the necessary school supplies. School supplies include: bookbags, folders, pens, pencils. Pencil boxes, small scissors, glue, crayons, markers, rulers, and notebooks.

AAFS celebrates Eid Al-Fitr (Breaking of the Fast Holiday) bringing joy to many of our low-income families and children. Through the support of our generous donors, our families, children and seniors recieve wonderful gifts to help alleviate the pressures of today's economy.
Adopt a Family and join the many individuals who contribute to making a difference in the lives of many. Help us to alleviate the financial burden off of our families. Bring a smile to our children and make our seniors feel wanted!!!

AAFS 4th Annual Walk in Faith and NOT in Fear coming Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lake katherine Park in Palos Heights. Join hundreds of community members walk against breast cancer and domestic violence and listen to strong women who have stood against such illnesses and made a difference in their lives.
Support AAFS and become a walker. AAFS will soon post more information on how to join.
